How do I get my LiteOn DH-20A3H DVD Ram drive to recognize all DVD/CD media?
DVD Ram drive doesn't recognize any media. It is a Lightscribe drive and will burn the label on the lightscibe side but doesn't see any CD/DVD media. I have the latest firmware and use latest updated Nero 7 (which seems flawless when I swap drives to my older LiteOn 1693S drive).
In a dos window I try to access the drive (F:) and it says "The device is not ready."
In Windows (XP Pro) it justs says "insert disc" no matter what you place in the drive.
Very frustrating as the drive spins and writes the Lightscribe label !!! ... So the motor has not gone out. It's only a few months old (hardly used) and only happened after I wrote the first Lightscribe label !!! So I believe the lightscribe function has screwed something up. Any ideas?
Just to note, it is an internal DVD Writer. I think it's some windows xp setting that has got screwed up. Any ideas??
