Is a non-functional government the only hope the GOP has for survival?
According to their principals government cannot do anything and is bad. With a government that works their principals become 'lies & invalid'. Is their only option for survival ensuring that government does not work? Is that what the Bush administration was all about - to dupe people into believing government couldn't do anything? With these principals the GOP's only model of governance can be failure - why should they be allowed near government if they are only going to wreck it?
